MemberI feel like I'm learning too much about characters who should be dead. Who did Trace kill if he killed Flora's family?
...
Excuse my confusion as it curls up into a ball in the corner of my mind while saying "This is non-canon" over and over again.

MemberThis is just me going based on memory since it's been a while since I've read those older chapters, Grand Templar Trace killed a lot of Keidran in his days, but no one named (unless we consider what happened to Rose if she really is dead.) So what happened to Flora's family is still unknown since on the following page Sythe says that he lied and he doesn't actually know if Trace had anything to do with her family. This next bit is just my personal rambling now since with Flora's family, I feel it was just a random plot point with not much purpose, because if I remember correctly, there is no other mentioning of Flora's family (aside from her saying she has a sister.) So to me it feels like it was just thrown in the story and Tom kind of forgot about it (if he did) so since there hasn't been any other mentioning of what their fate was, it could very much be that they've been alive the whole time. Again, this is just going off on what I remember and my own rambling, so if someone remembers things better or finds a page that talks about, they might be able to answer you better.

MemberIf Flora's family was alive this whole time then why did Flora spend the rest of her childhood growing up as a slave?
If Flora's family is dead then...
It couldn't have been Clovis because he would've been too young at the time.
Probably didn't happen under Mary Silverlock.
Maybe Trace ordered Templars to kill or capture Keidran. Making him indirectly involved.
The Tigers wanted to find a way to cancel Flora's arranged marriage to Sythe which lead The Wolves to want revenge on Trace.
Euchre planned this but somehow didn't factor in Saria being killed leading to Trace wanting revenge.

MemberI like Flora’s dad already!
Not that person
MemberWhether or not Flora's family is alive doesn't make much of a difference for her status of being a slave. She could have been captured while wandering the forest and her family would have no way of getting her back due to the abysmal relations between humans and keidran.

MemberHe's a man of few words because he's enjoying his pipe. As a pipe smoker, I can attest to this. When you get a particularly good blend in your favorite pipe, conversation becomes nearly one-sided.
