Yeah I know she has it in the show but syphilis is actually very easy to deal with irl; granted you get help as soon as you notice the symptoms. Untreated, however, and it will completely ruin your body. On the plus side, it's bacterial, so you don't even have to worry about a vaccine, you can just get antibiotics to cure ya.
