And since the vagina is pixilated I can show it to friends, family, and coworkers without worry of it coming off as obscene. Thank you Japanese government :)

I have heard that everyone in Japan know their censoring laws are stupid and outdated, but no politician is brave enough to reform them, so they'll probably stay like that for a looong time.

Japan actually got rid of a censorship law that required some kind of censor on genitalia.
Which is why there are thin black lines on dicks in manga or pixelation.

Though to say, now that the law is gone, a lot of people just still do it just because either for no reason, or they do it because that's what they're used to.
Or, it's someone that doesn't know about that shadow removal of the law.

Also, I don't know if there still is some law that, under cernatin conditions, requires the censorship.

Censoring porn always seemed more like a Chinese Communist thing to do, which is why I'm always confused when Japan does it.
