Blockedi mean, you got a point, ledo refuses to do therapy after all the shit that's going wrong with him, includomg the fire, also.... i kinda lost interest with this comic about a week ago.
I'm not against a dark story with what's probably gonna be a very bad ending, but i've begun thinking that's trying to hard by being as miserable as possible, and i feel like it's not really doingvany attempt to explore anything else, i liked extintion because not only it was dark, but it was also balanced by haing one or two lighthearted momemts that made you relate with the characters, as well as making actually valid questions such as if it's really worth preservation at any cost, while still possessing a very dark and twisted ending.
after the fire scene (which i think was well made) every page feels like it's only saying "LOOK HOW FUCKED UP THIS PERSON IS" over and over again...
and that's it, i just don't think it's good writing anymore, feel free to downvote

MemberI hope whoever wrote this doesn't think this is how people act in real life. Lmao

MemberGiven that the author based the story off confessions from sex offenders in the dept of corrections (where they work), and also that I personally have several friends who work in the same field who have shared eerily similar stories from inmates they deal with, these kind of cycles happen more often than you'd want to believe.

MemberActually as mentioned before this...is how it can happen, just because you have not experienced it doesn't mean it hasn't happened. The artist has been doing a wonderful job in showcasing this. When we nearly lost some of our friends another would be furious and keep another friend out like this blaming them for 'not being there' sometimes it was a roommate in the next room that was being pushed out of the room because 'they didn't stop it from happening', etc. No one actually teaches you how to deal with these situations appropriately so some handle it with sympathy and caring grace others do not.

MemberThe mention of Tornado season in the last page makes me concerned that it's going to be a particularly big one.
Edit: oh wait, you mean a literal, physical punch? Yeah, that too, probably.

MemberEmotions fuck everything up in time she'll see that Leto's mind is as fucked as Howl's and learn to forgive. This is a dark story however so Leto will continue to feel distant from her and Howl.
Any chance of a potential reconciliation will fail and we'll see the fallout which could end with Leto's suicide or next comic titled: The Killing Spree, it seems like we're going down a serial killer origins story.
PS. This comic isn't going to end well so don't take it seriously or you'll frustrate your own heart. Think of this story with glee/enjoyment then it will only feel more interesting.
Yes tornado can't wait to see who'll die next my money is on Howl's mother.

MemberOn a side note, this must also be hitting Howl's mom pretty hard...

Memberthe behaviour throughout most of the comic is entirely detached from reality. I wasn't speaking about the subject of suicide or the most recent page specifically. Just the comic in general. Downvote me for all I give a shit, it's my opinion. Also don't assume I haven't been in a situation like this, you don't know anything about me.
