I'm guessing it's at least somewhat intentional, as an offset to the VERY grim aspects of the main story (multiple characters almost dying, finding out about how FUCKED UP Trace was, Clovis being completely and utterly Joker-grade psychopathic, etc)

How did a mirror get in the way if the person is walking their dog? Were they looking at themselves in a mirror or something or do they keep one on them in case something like this happens?
