  • Wow. It's been a long time since anything Eragon has been posted even on rule 34. I guess the fan base is gone and it makes sense why. Youtube basically deleted all of the audio books and Paolini hasn't made a new book with these characters for ten years now.

If you count "The Fork The Witch And The Worm" then it's only been a couple of years. Maybe a volume 2 on the way but I haven't heard any dates announced yet.

"The Fork The Witch and The Worm" is still glorified fanfic-like story in a pretty cover than a proper addition to that franchise. Especially when I saw what printed version look like. Little text, tonnes of empty space on each page. Paolinii may have released his Sci-Fi book already but I think instead of working on Inheritance book no. 5 he got himself involved in movie addaptation of said Sci-Fi book.

As for the art here, I do love it; it's so rare to see Saphira art nowadays with such a feral and realistic design comparing to others. I'm impressed by her anatomy and the hairness she wears; it's not simple to design so it makes sense on a dragon. Hats off to the artist.

I mean, there has been quite a bit of Saphira art in recent years. Just because something isn't talked about a lot doesn't mean the fandom is dead.

Also from what I've heard, Christopher Paolini is still interested in making a movie/TV adaptation of the books. It's just that he wants it backed by a studio that'll let him oversee the project and make sure we don't get a repeat of the 2004 movie.

My favorite dragoness looking better than ever AND in bondage gear? Yes please!

I think that's just a riders harness, still looking damn good in it~

And most people only remember the series with the (quite mediocre) movie...

which is what got me interested in dragons to begin with

  • From my point of view by far the best picture of Saphira. Its no less than a masterpiece (facial expression, body, coloring and the armor). Thank you for sharing it with us.

  • I don’t think this image constitutes the BDSM tag, since nothing is really tied up, excluding her mouth. It’s probably just meant to be a rider’s harness like the other guy said.
