H-m-m, so it seems that this and some of the most recent arts were posted by ph0t0n0k0 themself, all the while it is evident by the lack of source links that most of them are present only on e6. I mean artist's FA page has been abandoned for more than a year now.

Your assumption makes perfect sense to me, especially in the context of photonoko's journal on their FA page where they state about being tired of social networks and fandoms or realising it's not their cup of tea (I don't remember clearly).
At the time I thought it meant that we wouldn't see any more pieces from photonoko. I'm glad that I was wrong and pho still shares their beautiful art with us.

By the way, I haven't seen many artists using E6 as their main gallery.

Thats because some think of this site as a lair of scum and villainy. Mostly those that think in lines of "do not share my art around" and are vocal about it. I will never understand that line of thinking.
