You know, I never really understood the hate train behind Tim Buckley's work. Is everyone still butt hurt about the whole miscarriage thing?

In short hes a hack writer when it comes to anything other than comedy. Not to mention he takes himself Waaaay to super cereal! and yeah its partly because of the miscarriage thing. It was pretty much deus ex machina to the tenth power. I dont really hate him but i see the arguments against him.

A storyline in the Ctrl+Alt+Del comic had the main character's fiance have a miscarriage. Buckley explained in defense of it by saying that he made the comic "for gamers, about gamers" instead of just focusing on dick jokes about video games, themselves, which was why he decided to go down that path with the comic.

Right now, though, he's starting to push into a direction where his focus will be on more comedy rather than elaborate and drawn-out storylines.

Honestly, That "wiki" didn't answer anything. It spent more time going on biased/opinion-fueled rants(about 85% of that article does nothing but insult the author) rather than actually giving facts (which is what wikis are suppose to do).

If you were to walk up to me and tell me that there was a wiki about bad web comics, I would expect to read factually-correct, unbiased information about (actually bad) web comics, rather than "every web comic in existence is terrible and is made by talentless, egotistical hacks who are also massive douches who should never be encountered in public".
