in the novel, what kind of question is that
"Oh where is 9/11 bad?" in all of it. And 9/11 is a good comparison to that shit show

It's fine, you're allowed to have an unimportant, wrong opinion.

i am minding my own business, since vns are my business and it's sad to see people fan boy over literal garbage. I could get a better plot out of a AI Dungeon Master. Go play a good novel, like E.A or Blackgate or even Morenastu.

and I don't care if you like anything, but if we keep popularizing this shit it's going to become the face of VNs. And having, quite literally, the worst vn as the face would be bad. It's like looking at France and only knowing them because they retreat a lot in wars.

Well, everybody, pack it up, the grand high poobah of VNs has spoken. His subjective opinion magically becomes fact, therefore we must all bow to his whims.

People who like something are going to talk about it and create fan content for it. When a lot of people like something, that thing becomes popularized. A LOT of people like Adastra. Just because you don't doesn't make it "objectively bad", you just like other stuff, and that's valid, but stop shitting on it just because it's popular. Get over yourself.

Personally, I find Morenastu boring, but that's just my opinion, and I'd never say it's "objectively bad" just because I don't like it.

Also, what VNs have you made, if they're "your business"?

I am shitting on it because it is bad, not to my own opinion. I am aromantic, so I don't personally like ANY vn. But, I still work with them
It's a low effort, and since it is coming from a WHOLE TEAM of workers, it's just true that they could do better. It's just disappointing to see. An example of how bad it was, the main character literally cheats on MC, and they still stay together. No, this is not a romantic thing to do. It's not "working things out" its a toxic mentality, and you shouldn't teach it to other people.

Not disclosing mine, because it IS bad, which I know and accept. But, I also know WHY it is bad and I accept it.

I mean that's extremely reductive of what actually happened, and you're pushing your personal morality onto others, which is fucked.

Also, if you don't like/care about VNs, who the fuck are you to lecture others on why the ones they like are shit? Get. Over. Yourself.

It doesn't matter how or why it happened. It's still cheating. Which is not okay. No, what's fucked is having a boring ass vn and filling it in with mediocre drama to make it more interesting. It's not quirky, it's just scummy.

Look, I'm not going to keep arguing with someone so stuck up their own ass that they think their opinion is fact. It's a waste of my time and energy, sort of like yelling at people for the crime of *checks notes* liking a VN you don't.

Ciao, dude. I wish you nothing but the best.

  • TL;DR Someone really dislikes Adastra and arguing happens. Now go appreciate Amicus if you like him and have a good day.

Yeah, if those things are your problem with the thing the truth is that you are just a pussy. Do you get this mad when cheating happens in literature classics too? Do you think anyone is "learning" from seeing cheating in a smut novel? Hilarious, the story and the prose doesn't matter, all that matters is: "The characters did something I don't like in it ๐Ÿ˜ญ"

When it comes to art; If you do not like something, find something else. Or better yet, if you have nothing nice to say; stfu.

I feel like they're just trolling at this point lol. There's no way someone's THAT entitled to other people's opinions... right?

its not a "smut" novel, sure it has sex in it, but it's not a fully sexual novel; like L.D. And, if you read anything that I posted, all that DOES matter is the story, which Adastra has none off. Nice try dumbass

yo man I know you're having an argument about how you think Adastra(which is in MY OPINION the best VN I've come across so far) is trash, but about AI dungeon.....

sure it used to be good and all before the energy bar, but now they openly admitted to looking through people's private, unlisted stories. All I'm trying to say is be careful, maybe uninstall AI dungeon? (The Infinite Story is a good alternative ^w^)

Not to be rude to any actual aromantics, but you really do seem like a coping incel when you say that. It is really weird how much you care about the minor cheating part of the whole story when you're supposedly aromantic? Hmmm, suspicious...

  • ๐Ÿ›‘!KINDA SPOILER ALERT!๐Ÿ›‘

Guess I'm late to the party. Apparently someone got mad over a fictional furry visual novel that is obviously not based on reality. This man really talked about them staying after cheating.... you know, to keep him from getting murdered. He also kinda got forgiveness after he saved his life. Not to mention the fact that the wolves have separate customs and ways of communicating. and they weren't even together at the time. Imagine getting so worked up over a fictional story, with fictional characters.

  • Unpopular Opinion

I don't know whether the story was good or not, but I personally didn't like the story of Adastra because of how it starts.

Marco (the MC) is kidnapped (separated from his friends and family) and forced to rely on his kidnapper (Amicus, ironically not an amicable start) in order to survive (not be killed) for the CHANCE that he might, possibly, maybe, potentially be able to return home if he helps his kidnapper win a game of political intrigue and danger. Isolation and Dependency are like Cult Brainwashing 101 techniques, and I'm just supposed to forget all that because they've "fallen in love" now?

Adding the Parents manipulating things behind the scenes, and the whole "romance" just feels so artificial and sinister. Like this whole adventure was just to gain a pawn (the MC) that can make their new King/Emperor (Amicus) more easily controlled. And it's not like the Parents are shown to be very good at ruling. Even ignoring how regressive the Siblings Cultures are, corruption was already running rampant in their governments by the time the story starts, with several Siblings implied to be planning a revolt against the Parents. The whole galaxy just seems to be heading towards collapse under the Parents leadership, with the story being an attempt to prepare for the inevitable fallout.

TLDR: The MC being kidnapped and forced to comply or die kills the romance for me.
