Training the Trainer

Some Pokémon can be handfuls while training, but Typhlosion was always on another level. He never seemed to listen, always just doing whatever he felt like. Maybe it was inexperience as a trainer, but it always seemed like he thought he was the one in control. He refused to go back into his ball very early on, preferring to lounge about the house most of the time. But that was okay, maybe giving in to that would be enough to make him cooperate with other orders... of course, that wasn't the case. The longer the leash got, the more he wanted. It wasn't long before he was getting pushy, nudging around and giving orders of his own. Or just... taking what he wanted. It shouldn't have been surprising the next day when he brought that collar back from wherever he found it, with the not-so-subtle implication of what it meant.

Guess sometimes, the Pokémon are the trainers
