Not at all. I just find it a bit odd since most artists play with the fact that there’s so much. While here it’s toned down so much. It’s not like she’s uglier for it, it’s more just “oh this caught me off guard”.

Another thing I want to add is the fact that flareons are actually prized by some trainers/people because of how fluffy those manes are. Though the mass removal of said mane and tail fur does come with a benefit of it’s own as it could probably be donated to make winter clothing, along with any other benefits you may have in the personal appearance department.
