News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/

  • Incase you don't know, Raytheon is a defense contractor responsible for creating weapons that have been used by the US to murder innocent civilians in the Middle East.

Woah woah woah! Hey now, Raytheon doesn't just make weapons for the US to use to murder civilians in the Middle East; they make weapons for everyone to kill civilians everywhere!

EQUALITY is making weapons to be able to shoot everyone, not just one.

On that note, this is LITERALLY a Possum who came out the Closet, this is like...my whole shtick.

I'm curious why HappyRoadKill's political art is allowed, but not Zooptoon's.

Given they're on the DNP list, probably because Zooptoon doesn't want people to redistribute their work. Or there's something that happened i have zero clue about.

    edit: he's banned, that's why. https://e621.net/users/418444

  • Laughed so hard when I saw all the companies that make a living selling war machines waving a pride flag in their blood soaked hands.

Welp. Turns out the sjws were wrong and the anti sjws had a VERY good point.

It is beyond ridiculous and it seems that the cynical people saw the writing on the wall.

You cheapen your point when you say any foreign intervention = murdering innocent babies

Raytheon made precision guided-munitions that were an alternative to CCIP-ing like the Russians did when they blew up all those hospitals as collateral. Anti-radiation missiles meant our people had a way to not get killed by SAMs. I don't think it's as simple as you make it out to be.

This tbh. Imagine complaining instead of just admitting that missiles are cool.

I think most people are massively undereducated about... at the very least Raytheon, considering these comments.
Any company that contributes anything to the United States military is just "that company that kills innocent people" without any regard to what they actually do.

The point is, we don't wanna be associated with merchants of death.

  • I find it funny how conservatives can’t come up with legit arguments to dunk on “the left” so they grift actual leftist theory arguments about how neoliberalism (which btw enables pink capitalism) is corrupt even though that’s a capitalism issue. Auth rights all of a sudden being anti capitalist when the oppressive blade they sharpened themselves backfires on them but these illiterates can’t even tell the difference between liberalism and leftism.

I thought this was a joke. It is not a joke.

What, the tech company really did put rainbow colours on the company's logo?

  • If I recall Raytheon has actually scored a 100 on the corporate equality index, from what I've heard this isnt even pink capitalism, the defense industry is actually just very lgbtq friendly, even Lockheed Martin had pride socks available for a time and had pride floats in a parade.

Apparently it's been like this for a while now, too, I guess they just really don't care if you're gay or straight as long as you are qualified to make bombs and planes n shit.
