I am having difficulty deciphering this text conversation. Am I dumb or am I just stoned?

Read left side downwards first, then the right side. I got confused at first too.

Kate is jake's mom. So when Asriel fucks kate, the baby will have both Asriel's and Jake's genes

I'm still a little confused on the difference between the 2 specifically the one on the left and who's talking to who.

That's uh, not how genetics work though? The kid'd have to be Jake's son to have his genes.

They want a kid that would have the genes of both Asriel and Jake. Well since Jake is half of Kate’s DNA code, if Asriel breeds Kate like he did, this means the kid will resemble both Asriel and Jake

... But... that's still not how genetics work. Offspring are not a perfect 50/50 of two parents, and even if they were the mutations that occur during fetal development and even during the offspring's lifetime guarantees that even after birth, a person's genetic makeup is almost completely original.

... Yes, everyone undergoes some form of genetic mutation. On average a human being will have around 130 mutations from birth (that can be catalogued), and they're almost always benign.
