Is that canon? It was in the pilot and implied that she has it because of Blitzo... It seems like they decided on a softer tone than her adoptive father doing that. Also the show got much, much better starting with ep2.

Just remember boys, the cure for syphilis is just penicillin, which is laughably easy to get.

1. It was only implied once in the pilot and never mentioned again
2. it was probably just her being crude and edgy to establish the character as crude and edgy
3. Even if she does, it's easily curable with simple antibiotics

I always assumed it was a one off gag to establish her as a crude and edgy character. Not to mention since the series release their has been noticable tweeks that occured that while not fully retconning the pilot so to speak has now made me take the pilot with the grain of salt and not take it as 100% part of the main canon.
