Description

I worked on SPD under a very talented visual effects artist. He actually sculpted and created the Cruger prosthesis.

Since we were making a LOT of new content to supplement what came over from Bandai, we were always trying to work within the framework of the existing show from Japan. However, some things just weren’t reconcilable.

Obviously Cruger’s Japanese prosthesis wouldn’t fit into his ranger helmet, his new animatronic head DEFINITELY wasn’t going to fit. We joked that Cruger’s nose was teleported to another dimension while he was in battle.

    I don't understand how they couldn't have just made the helmet look like his normal head, same thing with Zenowing from Dino Charge.

    It was for the shock value. Like who's that ranger? And when it's revealed ta da!

    That's why. Sadly they didn't explain how he's helmet work lol

    The shadow ranger's outfit is perhaps the coolest I've seen so far, but yeah when you see who's wearing it, the helmet does not make sense anatomically lol

    At least make the helmet fit his animal head or at least make the helmet look like the protogen screen (I have no idea what it's called on a protogen so if you know please tell me)
