Bruh, this mans gave legit good advice and date money to his son in an earlier day, and he also is lenient on language? Despite looking rough around the edges and having shown to have probably messed up his marriage prior?
Yeah, Keith is a good dad. I know we know very little on him, but what we do know leads me to believe he's a good guy who made bad mistakes. He seems like he legitimately cares for his children. Sure, his marriage most likely didn't work, and might have even ended violently considering his lost ear and tail. And sure, he does hired hookers and prostitutes, as seem in an earlier issue. But honestly, I think he's just in a bad place. He seems like he legit wants Seb's relationship to work, granted he doesn't know who he's dating. But it shows, he doesn't want Seb to end up how he has. And that's admirable.
I think Keith is a good guy who's made bad mistakes and I'll believe that until proven otherwise. I hope this father/son scene coming up makes me like him even more than I already do.

I wonder why the school hasn't called to see why Seb and Serah have been absent so much. And I think Seb's gonna have to come clean with Kieth about what's been going on, because I have a hunch that that's precisely what Serah's gonna do. She's that pissed at Seb right now!

It was stated on Tuesday that Seb seems to care about his Dad but Serah has a bit of resentment for him. Whatever happened to cause that may have also been part of the reason the Mother isn't around and why Serah flipped on Seb but that's just my observation, I could be right, I could be wrong, I don't know?

Why do folks think they missed school? We saw them going a few times, and the comics could also take place after classes. "Thursday" felt like a late afternoon/evening thing.

Poor Seb. And poor Serah. I feel so bad for them...

I think Seb can talk to Dad about girlfriend issues without mentioning that it is Serah - not yet anyway. And I think Keith will really try to help him out.

It’s an honorable thing to take the mistakes of your past and use them to help your children and other people, so yeah Keith is a good father.

I doubt it’d go this way, but the pill can have an effect on a woman’s mood/emotions. Perhaps it is really a combination of living a secret relationship life, trying to not mess up the relationship between them like with whatever happened to their parents, and trying to just keep it real and not only about sex. Man…this comic is so real and accurate as to what I’d imagine it would be like to have such a relationship. Makes me really appreciate BK and his masterful storytelling skill so much. What happened to that mans tail?

A few people have missed the fact that Kieth's tail was already damaged before the mom was no longer in the picture. Unintended pun there. In the treehouse, the last picture we see as Seb is leaving is the selfie with the huge rhino beetle in his hand with his sister, mom, and dad in the background. Keith has both his ears intact but his tail is not. As I said on another site, I believe the mom is not alive and the ear damage is somehow a result of that.

It’s refreshing to see Keith afforded some humanity (felinity?). For a while our only perspective on him comes from Seb and Serah, and they gave conflicting accounts. But the more I see him interact with them, the more I see a man (cat?) who has learned from his mistakes and is trying to be a good parent.

I'm just hoping it doesn't go the way I mentioned in the Thursday section, where she hates him/they hate each other for 50 pages, they suddenly have a realization, apologize, and make up with sex. These types of dramas always go that way, and it just really dumbs down the story that's being told.

No he isn't. He is never around, barely even talk with the kids and bring hookers home without any regard to his children safety, as we saw the last hooker was also a thief. Serah and Seb practically raised themselves for all we know. The date money he gave was only because Seb ask for it on such a close deadline, and only on the condition that Seb look for a job. He does seem to have his heart on the right track, advising Seb and such but so far he did almost nothing for any of them

Firstly, no he didn’t and when didn’t have the money he said he’d Seb the money and delivered on his word, and secondly how is him telling his teenage son to him get a job a bad thing? Actually you know what you’re right, because experience totally doesn’t make getting a job easier later

I’m going to give that he does have his heart in the right place but him not doing anything for either of them is bull shit man. he is a widower, single father, raising two horny, hormonal, teenage, fraternal, twins, by himself. As someone who is, by definition, a bastard child, I know that neither of my parents had to do shit for me, especially my dad. He did not have to stick around and be my dad especially after my mom would put his name on my birth certificate but, he did. And my dad always tells me when ever I see him “any male can be a father but, it take a real man to be a dad”. And throughout all of this even Serah, who is clearly butting heads with Keith, still calls him “Dad”, not Keith, not jackass, not motherfucker, dad.

And I haven’t even mentioned the struggles of being man trying to raise a woman as well as raising another man, he does so much for these kids of his just by being around and not being abusive. And Serah clearly knows he’s trying and is just to much of a sandy asswhole to let him in, we’ll intentionally or not. I’m mean the worse thing we’ve seen him do to her is take her coffee away, drinking coffees is typically use to show that’s someone’s an adult or a mature person when it comes to story telling. Heaven forbid a dad doesn’t want his kids to grow up too fast. I’m not gonna it here and act like he’s perfect, nobody is. I mean he could probably try to reach out to Serah so she doesn’t think he loves Seb more, which she probably does. Could he be better. Yes, so could you, but to say he’s a bad dad is just wrong

The artist and writers have said there will ABSOLUTELY NOT be ANY pregnancy in these comics. And the constant harassment to do so guaranteed it won't. They even wrote in a line about her being on the pill to try and stop the non-stop speculation/requests/begging for it.
