Audrey vs. Mary

This was the last image I did from the Audrey stint I went on last year. She's pretty easily bullied, even when she's on top.

  • Naylor's intersex characters are always the best! Love the way he portrays them interacting with other characters in his worlds. <3

Does Jay still do work? I do miss original Life.

He's still very much active - but he doesn't maintain a significant social media presence, and most of his current work is locked behind Patreon paywalls (which, to be fair, is perfectly fine - a man's gotta earn his daily bread). He's out there, if you want to find him.

    Probably because of the drama.

what exactly happened? i never fully understood it

I honestly have no idea either. He seems like a pretty conservative/independent guy, so it might just be generic hate-boners from people who can't stand his personal views. Regardless of whatever grudges or bad blood people have with him, his work's always been very solid and enjoyable, at least in my eyes. Hopefully he keeps it up!

That's pretty much the gist I've gotten. Maybe he said something once that got someone's panties in a twist and now it's just hate that's passed on and on

She isn't trans? Did I miss something? Also why isn't she with Aron anymore?

That's a common issue with some artist... But I like the art for the art, not the person behind it.

She is, I presume they meant it in the catchall e621 tag sense. I also wonder about the Aron thing though.

I am still confused about the tagging system of this site.

And apparently she ain't with Aaron anymore as the comic Force of Nature had him go with Trixie

(unless the world of JN is full of exchangism and open relationship as far as I can understand).

So! Months later, so you may well know by now, but 'intersex' as a catchall is used here on e621 to refer to any character that displays mixed sexual characteristics, for example, breasts and a penis. By that definition, the term also encompasses non-op trans characters like our girl Audrey here. The term is pretty widely used in the furry fandom this way. There are also more specific tags to narrow things down further, such as 'gynomorph' (a character with breasts and a penis, but no vagina), and the trans_(lore) tags to distinguish characters that are trans from their similar-appearing counterparts, since furry art is full of characters with that body type that didn't have to transition to get there.

If you're ever curious about a particular tag, you can click the ? by it for its definition.

And shoot! Don't think I've read that one yet. I liked that pair... ah welllll.

(I also wouldn't rule that out, though. C'mon hit me with that threeway...)

I'm not entirely sure about the way e621 names the tags but I guess it was misstagged at first.
