conically pure human. The curse is not transited during gestation. There are only two known ways to be cusred with worgen without losing oneself: first is the Scythe of Elune. Second is to willingly ingest blood of a worgen. I did some digging around on wow discords and found that out.

Correct. The curse is magical in nature and not hereditary.

Imagine if both your parents were Worgen but decided never to shift back to their human form. That would probably be confusing for you growing up. Or imagine they did shift back and forth, and you grew up frustrated that you could not.

I guess if the parents wanted to pass it onto their kid because they saw it as a positive thing rather than negative (increased strength, speed, power, heightened senses, still able to take human form, etc.) and given how the world is in WarCraft they wanted their kid to have as many advantages as possible, they could feed them a little blood. Probably make the terrible twos a real mother@#$&er when your kid's got teeth and claws, though.

I know if I were dropped into the game and couldn't pick one of the non-human races, I'd find me a willing Worgen donor immediately.

I'd like to more imagine that The human felt in love with a female worgen and this is her baby. Because look at the ring!

Simply put, condoms are still required for sex with a female worgen.
