  • I was looking at pics tagged 'safe sex', and I laughed hard when I saw the thumb for this. It's a bad pun, I know, but it's still funny as hell.

But what if the condoms looked like safes??? Triple safe sex!

And what if those safes were vaults. Quadruple the safe sex.

Safe sex = sex that won't make babies.

No... It does not mean what you think it means.

Safe sex = sex that won't have unwanted consequences, such as but not limited too: STD/Is, bleeding, tearing, conception (possibly), etc. It means not conceiving, yes, but it also means using a condom for anal so you won't get excrement in your urethra. It means not being tied up for too long to prevent blood pooling, and getting massaged a bit after a bondage session to return blood flow to normal. It means not ingesting urine from a dehydrated person, or a person with an infection or disease that lives in the urinary tract.

It probably should be. "Questionable" at most. There's nothing actually explicit. The doors are still locked.

That's a safety issue, definitely, but falls more under aftercare

The infection question is obvious, but why would urine from a dehydrated person be dangerous? Or do I want to know? I ask this from the perspective of a person who has fainted due to dehydration in the past, and now wonders why the fuck that would make my urine any more dangerous than the food poisoning that caused the dehydration in the first place.

Of course since urine is not actually sterile (though it was believed to be for a while for whatever strange reason), avoiding ingesting it at all would sound like the best bet for safe sex, just like other bodily fluids.

About 95% of the water in your blood is recycled back into your body by your kidneys, but the other 5% goes into your urine. If you're already suffering from dehydration, your urine will be even more concentrated than normal and thus will contain more toxins/waste/bad stuff per volume (so 200mL of dehydrated!urine has more bad stuff than 200mL of regular!urine). Which is also why drinking urine is a bad idea in the first place, it's so concentrated that it provides relatively little water compared to the amount of other stuff it puts into your body, thus dehydrating you faster than if you drank nothing at all.

ahh, Sorry; don't check "search for myself in comments" often. It's basically what loli vulf said. That is, the urine contains far more waste product than the urine of a well hydrated person, which is already mostly waste product. If it's yellow, it's not a good idea to get in the body, but unless you yourself are in danger of dehydration it's 'safe enough'. Wouldn't recommend, but in the same way I wouldn't recommend biting a raw jalapeno. If it noticeably smells, you should avoid ingesting it because the concentration of the bad stuff the body is trying to filter out can not only be seen, but smelt. Our noses aren't that strong comparative to animals, so if we're smelling potentially dangerous stuff we shouldn't take it into our system. The urine of a dehydrated person contains a potentially dangerous amount of the waste product. I mean, the 'safe' part of it is so small it may as well not be there at all.

  • As soon as I seen this I literally started laughing hysterically, this is taking the definition "safe sex" to a literal.

    Amazing.

e621 is just as effective at serving memes than serving decent yiff for the masses to be satisfied with.

No, while those sexy safes are having safe-on-safe sex it wouldn’t be substantially safe to tag it safe, since those safes are still having sex, so explicit while not including an S would be safe.
