There was nothing as refreshing as a hot shower, even in the warming days of summer to come the fluffy tailed racoon girl adored simply standing underneath the hot spray of shower and letting the steam build up underneath her fur and soak into the softness of her skin. Much to the annoyance of younger brother (if only by twelve and a half seconds he frequently reminded) she could spend an hour or more in the shower or taking a bath. On this day she was getting ready for an important day at work and had to be up extra early to ensure she had plenty of time to get ready.

In the warming baste of her hot shower she pondered the outcomes of that day, trying to mentally prepare herself for all the possibilities. She mentally rehearsed her talking points until she felt like she was finally ready, the meditation in the shower finally came to an end when she twisted the water valve closed and took a deep breath in the steam filled room. A single step outside the shower stall floor and into the tile covered bathroom and she looked for a towel.

“You’re so mean you know that?”
