MemberIn a manner of speaking, the original Xbox is the "Dreamcast 2", as many of the features of the Dreamcast were carried over to the Xbox, including the Windows operated online capabilities and the design of the controller layout. Even the integration of the 2-memory port system in each controller was brought over from the DC. Further, upon release many of the DC games were first ported to Xbox before appearing on other systems.

MemberAll true. Microsoft also hired or contracted quite a few Sega engineers/techs to help with the building of the Xbox. The Xbox was even able to RUN Dreamcast games. But Microsoft squashed that shortly before release.
