Nah, the character just has dark brown coloring on her limbs.

Also Unousaya doesn't seem to be that kind of person. They are Japanese for one, so they probably doesn't even know about the drama, mostly because japanese tend to stay out of stuff like that.

Secondly, they're mostly busy doing commissions or original art with their OCs, I don't think they'd stop what they're doing just to do a lewd speedrun of Fiddle's OC, lol.(It would be funny if this was the case, tho!)

Why do I know all this? Because I follow them on twitter and already asked commissions a few times, and everytime they take a few weeks to deliver the piece so...yeah, this art was commissioned a while ago, and just surfaced now because of the drama. :)

Yes, they are stockings.

Said "It's Just" calmly while aprecciating the so called "stockings", seeing that they have the exact same color as the character's "Averi" arms and ears, having two possible options at the sight of that; One. Averi has a pair of brown clothes for each pair of limbs, this one being highly doubtful due to the clear lack of existing clothes specifically made for the foxes ears. And, Two. Averi's fur for her legs, arms and ears are just darker than the fur on the rest of her body, this one being quite certain thanks to the fact that there are real life foxes who has the same conditions with the fur on their limbs, animals who are the same species as Averi, so we can say that her appearance is based on real life foxes and so, she also just has darker tones of brown for her limbs.

They're stockings.
