Also also I feel like he knows, like he’s known for a while but, is just waiting for one of them to slip up. Growing up my dad’s rule was if you’re gonna do something you know yain’t supposed to or you’re gonna lie to me, DON’T GET CAUGHT. This seems like something similar. I think Keith knows exactly what’s going on but, he probably has some relative idea. Honestly it’s really fun to try and guess where this story is going, multiple other people have said it and I’m gonna say it again. Th NSFW stuff is just the icing. This story could be entirely SFW and I wouldn’t have any complaints. coz even without the icing, like Fridays been so far, I’m still begging for another slice of cake.You took just 2 random commission characters and made them into something special. That is ASTONISHING. These characters feel real, like these characters have New Vegas levels of depth. Sebastian’s not just some horny teen boy, he doubts himself, he gets fed up with Serah when she accuses him of starting it all, he hates confrontation. Serah’s not just a living fleshlight either, she has a breakdown at the idea of losing her brother, she butts heads with her dad, she gets insecure when pressured by other women. And that’s just the lead characters, even they’re teacher has a personality (Formally dead inside is what I’d call it, like most high school teachers). And don’t even get me started on the art style OH MY FUCKING GOD! It’s so simple yet, it looks SO FUCKING NICE, oh fucking expression I mean Sebs face in panel fucking one of this image, you know what I hear when I see that face. “Some test subjects do experience some uh, cognitive deterioration after being in stasis for some time. Now you been under for quite a lot longer, and it’s not outta the question that you may have a very minor case of serious brain damage.” I mean Black-kitten has always been good with expressions but, goddamn are the expression in this comic great. This comics series is nothing short of exceptional and hope to more amazing stuff like this in the future.

I am very much enjoying the way Keith’s been developing in the comic so far. In the beginning he just felt like some beatnik that wasted money on whores and booze. But he’s become so much more of an actual father figure, especially in regards to Seb. It’s been made very clear that, while he may not be perfect, he does care, even if he doesnt always actively show it in the best of ways.

Curious why folks keep saying he higher prostitutes. Serah made one comment about him coming home with them, but I always figured that was a reference to Kieth dating and Serah not approving of it, so called them whores. Teenage angst and anger.

Love how Keith is the parent (not perfect as we have seen previously) but still a responsible enough parent to lay down the law. Every teenager needs a kick in the tail WTFU call.

I also love Seb’s (oh God I may have..) look when Keith said “grandpa.”

Don’t know how this story will eventually conclude, but I am loving the ride!

Because he literally hired a prostitute in a previous chapter? Who then robbed him of all his money in his wallet before he woke up, had a cup of coffee at the kitchen table, and after Serah got rude with her, she laid it down that she heard her and her "boy toy" fucking all night. Then told her she smelled more of a whore than she did at her age, before leaving.

We can infer from earlier dialogue that she is not the first prostitute he brought home.

I don't think he's necessarily saying he got her pregnant. He might be saying that the combination of condoms and birth control has a lower failure rate than either alone. He might also be saying that birth control doesn't do shit for STIs, and if he doesn't know it's Serah then there's a legitimate chance that he could get an STI from her.

Yes this was my point exactly, the zebra chick was 100% a prostitute/whore. Indeed. You can forget birth control. But you cant say with a straight face you "forgot" a condom. Doesn't work that way.

Great faces in the first two panels! In the first, Seb's got that look like, 'Oooooooh, did I just fuck up,' and transitioning to the second, 'Okay, no red flags,' while still retaining the shock from his near-blunder.

I highly admire Black-Kitten's ability to depict emotion through expression.

Im not sure I like what the artist is trying to ease us into...

The more I think about it, I realize it's a good thing for him that Keith is taking that little revelation the way he is.

I mean, imagine the alternative situation...

Keith, livid over his son's admission, shouts down, "Having SEX!? After the FIRST DATE!? What is wrong with you!? Who taught you that this is a right thing to do!?"

Seb looks up at him, his defiant expression cut though by the tears welling up in his eyes.

"It was YOU, OK!?"

Dumbstruck by such a targeted outburst from his son, Keith's remaining ear lays flat and his expression softens.

"I learned it by watching you!"

I think that comment about being a grandfather is more towards Seb blindly believing his girlfriend was on the pill, and not bothering to use a condom, from Keith's perspective.
