Seems VERY similar to post #1628352

The pose is similar, but where do you see evidence of tracing? The two character's have different hips and body are shapes.. The animation in this one has fewer moving parts, like grace's head, which doesn't seem to follow the animation of Doe at all. Also, the viewing angle is different.

Yeah, I just don't see it.

  • The pacing, the rotation of the legs, and variations of the head movement from the other post all makes it seem to me to not be a trace at all.

Nope, but it could be base someone made for people to use

    No it is not.

Because it's "Similar" doesn't mean it's completely traced.

MANY artists has that same animation variant but are completely different towards each other.

I see not a single TRACE in this animation. Because there's a possibility this report will get rejected

seems to work for Biko lol

First of all, no, it isn't. And even if it were, so what? You'll raise your baseless concerns every single time when looking at a frontal animation of a female spreading legs? Nonsense.

  • All things considered this is a pretty baseless flag...

For one, the art style is completely different. So are the expressions.

Secondly, the movement is unique. If you watch the legs in this animation, they spread, and that's about it. In that of Civibes, after the legs are spread they rotate outward a little bit (the angle changes). Doe's ears move and her head is a bit more animated too.

In the world of art, inspiration is very important, and creativity is often fueled by borrowing the ideas of others and adding your own twists. Even so, the concept of somebody sitting down and spreading their legs has probably been the fantasy of, like, a ton of people, so let's not freak out every time an artist caters to that desire.

    Alright I'm done.

Tl;dr jesus of course this isn't traced

  • I’m actually the one who commissioned this and I’m deeply confused considering, that while I did send a reference animation for this to be made like, the example with Doe wasn’t even the one I sent the artist lmfao. Just seems to be more discourse and unnecessary negativity towards Dune and his characters :/

  • The hell is this traced in this? Its one of the most commonly made animation moves, just because everyone uses it that doesnt mean its tracing!

  • Seriously? How is this a trace? It's similar but the art style isn't the same. People really gonna take poses as tracing so someone draws a pose, no one can. So fucking stupid

Oh no, a famous artist has already done a pose like this!
So, nobody else is allowed to draw anything even vaguely similar, then.

Yep, basically.. people just jump to the conclusion of tracing to fucking ruin other artist's drawings that used similar pose.

  • I kinda wish we get the appeal system up and running at some point, because these kind of comment section will turn akward later on when they are talking about flag that no longer exsists.
If you wish to disguss about traces and such further, I would advice doing it elsewhere than this comment section to not bloat this any further with matters no longer relevant for the work.

So just to give refresher: trace with content on e621 consists of when artist is directly copying the linework by tracing over it and this has to be at least partial perfect match for it to be considered for deletion. Commenting that you think that something is/isn't trace has zero impact on this process.
Ideas, poses, framing, movement, etc. etc. are all factors that are free to be used by anyone as these are things that could not be copyrighted either. With many other websites, original author of the works whose work has been traced from should file takedown request instead and this can also be done on e621 as well.

Pose, angle and animation are definitely extremely similar if not same, but absolutely nothing has been traced or copied as far as the artwork itself goes at least from the other post linked. Unflagged and approved.

Also as personal comment I hate when GIFs are made this large because that 256 color palette never really stretches like that, in here at least it's not immidiately visible but would definitely love seeing this high res animations more, but using formats that doesn't ruin color detail like APNG.

I kind of agree with this. This is a nice animation, the GIF format seems too, limited, for it. Like there's some subtle banding on Grace's flush that might not be there with a larger color pallet. Plus the GIF format is kind of awkward in general, since not all video players like it (assuming you're saving for offline viewing/preservation.)

I would really like to see something for it because its kind of ridicolous right now.
