    Not necessarily. In many version of the Egyptian mythology, Sekhmet and Bast shared Anubis as a husband. In other versions, they were married to Ptah. Egypt didn't have one congruent religion; it had many cults and versions that contradicted one another.

    Later it was thought that Bast and Sekhmet were two aspects of the same goddess. Sekhmet the warrior and protector side, and Bast the gentle and nuturing side.
