April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.
Please, help us get the word out by letting others know about this issue.
For some further information on what the bill does have a look at https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2586/
We still have a Discord server, come talk to us!

MemberLately, Scolipede has gotten a lot of high quality, top tier smut. When it comes to underrated Pokèmon, they didn't really come to mind until now. I absolutely adore the works that've been put out there, and I can see the potential this bug can go. I hope this train keeps going, because I've been really enjoying it so far.
Hell yeah, Scolipede!

MemberYeah. Source said inspired by Goonie-san, but it seems awfully too close.
user 299220
MemberNot even too close. If you compare line for line, it's almost exactly the same. This dude just copied someone else's art and then put their name on it
Dysol
MemberYep. No two artist draws butthole creases the same way every time, and that's a fact.

MemberOverlapped the images, doesn't look like a trace to me. It was in response to being inspired by Goon, it's not a trace. They were going for the same angle so it just seems like it. The artist just has good hand-eye coordination and they draw ass like them all the time. They look up to them from an artist perspective cause they probably like how they draw.

MemberIt is a trace. Compare them side to side and you'll find very little difference. The slight overlap of the left ass cheek over the anus. The pussy lips. Even the segments of the exoskeleton on the back of her neck are the exact same. The furrowing of her eyebrow is the same. The two lines right above the anus are the same. This is almost an exact line-for-line copy of the other picture. Except Goon isn't slapping her ass in this.
Oh and the anus even shines in the exact same spots. Hell, even her left ass cheek is raised up ever so slightly like the other one! Literally the biggest, and pretty much only difference, is her tail is in a slightly different spot. Even the colors match up almost exactly!

MemberBecause they referenced it. Didn't they literally say it was inspired from the drawing? Of course it's going to look similar. I think they were going for it looking similar out of flattery. Does Goon even have a problem with this?

JanitorLinework here is definitely extremely similar, down to exact pose, camera angle, similar linework and even same expression, but I don't see any exact matches, closest being the anus with similar look to it, but even there nothing is exact match.
Our definition of trace is that linework has to be exact match. Sites generally require for the copyright holder to file takedown if someone has plagiarized their works, but we have simply decided to delete them as part of our rules and guidelines as bootleg copies and generally shitty things to have.
This would not be the first time when artist uses reference so closely that it looks like it's traced from getgo, but many have deleted their works later on to avoid the shitstorm of them, even if they did nothing wrong. If either of the artists wants to take this down, forward them to sites takedowns, othervice I would see this as not being traced.
