MemberBro I feel this, being in some of the more southern states of America with an average of about 100° Fahrenheit, even in the mountains, I feel this image, just the relief of all of the sweat being magically blown away is one of the best feelings ever, almost makes me like the hot seasons over the cool ones. Also he is cute I guess.

MemberAlmost everything is great down here, it's just the weather, it's cringe.
A Dopey Robot
MemberAs someone who is below average weight, I prefer being hot over cold because cold will probably kill me.
& being hot is easier to solve than being cold.

Memberno it isn't?

MemberWear a sweater, maybe two, a thick pair of wool socks, and you're good. You can only take of so may clothes in the summer. It's way easier to fix being to cold than too fix being too hot.

I mean I'm fine wearing a coat indoors, but I sleep nude. It's more comfortable, & apparently research I've read so far says it's healthy.
Without a heated blanket that's kinda difficult to do. I really should get one.
I've tried a weighted blanket. It does work but only to a point.
The previous winter I had my apartment drop to 52°F. It was miserable but doable.
Once I get a heated blanket, I might be able to do 42°F, & >not< be miserable.
Of course I can't go any lower because then the pipes start freezing. ❄
It really is most likely that my very low body weight is keeping high heat from making me feel terrible.
People along the tropics tend to be very thin as well, because the surface to volume ratio allows the body to shed heat better than someone with some "fluff".
If my low weight continues, I'll probably consider moving further south.

Memberit can be depending on your body physiology. im heavier set and built for bitter winters so summers are miserable, but i can chill in a pool for a while or take cold showers.

MemberThe deep south is infact not great considering the *awfull* problems with racism, sexism, homophobia, texas not being integrated into the national powergrid causing thousands of people to have been without power during winter and alot of people dieing, florida having a massive wealth divide and homeless issue, the extremely powerfull far right extremist groups, the lack of accountability by republican politicians in red states where they completely fucked over the education system even more than before, outlawed abortion in alot of these places, made it illegal to say gay in a school because they're afraid of chicks with dicks, etc
UrAverageFurryUwU
MemberPersonally, for me, it's easier to be warm than cold. The cold doesn't bother me so much, but the warmth bothers me more. People are different and that's alright, i can't sleep with bed sheets or I'll become too hot, some people can but I don't, i guess it also depends where you live as well. Maybe you live in a cold climate and you're more used to cold weather. Or maybe you have more fat and muscles which kinda let's you stay warm easier
