Go check Rick's twitter (especially his AD). Long story short he finally rule34'd his own Housepets characters, which I and many others thought would never happen.

To copy-paste a response I made earlier, it's basically this:

He was tired of keeping Housepets side-content clean as, in his words, "some vague gesture of compromise at people who feel utterly scandalized by naughty Housepets content- who I'm making no attempt to coddle anymore. I'm not Toby Fox, I'm not Scott Benson, I don't just tolerate sexy fanart or what have you, I actively participate in graphically adult content because I like doing it myself."

Most people who read his comic know that he's been doing adult artwork for years now, and he doesn't want to have to hide it just to protect the delicate sensibilities of a handful of people who don't even matter.

Nonconcur. I know of at least two who have done Adult work in the past, and do not currently do such work, nor plan to do so again. It just wasn't "right for them".
