It says that the video file is corrupt and can't play. Using firefox on an android phone.

I feel like it's always the "Firefox on Android" crowd who report that something is broken.

For the record, I'm on Firefox on PC and it works fine.

I'm also getting this feeling, but at the same time I cannot get any same issues with firefox on android :|
Firefox is one of the browsers that aren't chromium based, so the player could also behave differendly, maybe it is using codecs in OS (similarly how flash is ran through adobe plugin instead of being embedded in the browser itself) and if the android version is old enough it could have problems with newer codecs and encodes. But at the same time, VP9 has been supported since android kitkat 4.4 which is from 2013!

I did check the file and didn't find anything problematic with it. Additionally cannot reproduce the problem with any software on Windows 10 nor Android 11.
Also was it broken with Original/Fit modes or Sample mode? Because if sample is broken I can try reproducing it.

So unless someone manages to dig out why this happens, I'm not feeling like deleting the post. In the meanwhile you can try samples from dropdown below the video or the twitter version in sources.

Well, samples are VP8, the video itself is VP9, so only thing I can think of is that your android version is super out of date.
Also technically speaking the flag is for the actual content (original and fit) so it would've been correct if I could find something wrong with the file, but leaning more and more towards just outdated software/hardware.

Hit the download button and it'll work. Still not resolved for me but its an issue with Fennec/FF and not e621.
