Well, so long as I’m posting today...
I made these over a year ago, around the time the pandemic started actually. I had binged all of season 1 of Bluey during finals week and subsequently could not stop drawing my dog characters in the style. It was a mess. But I love how deceptively simple it is.
Truth be told I don’t use these guys all that much nowadays, but it’s always fun to revisit them, and I may or may not have invented roles for all of them in the Bluey universe as I did this.
Gilbert (chocolate lab) is a music teacher, Ariel (Border Collie/Dalmatian hybrid) is a sports coach and probably related to Chole’s family, Erin (Dachshund) is the Cool Babysitter, Lily (big Australian Shepherd) works at her family’s bakery, and her sister Juliana (small Australian Shepherd) is probably in Bingo’s class.
