Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.
Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.
Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.
Further information on the bill itself can be found at the Free Speech Coalition: https://action.freespeechcoalition.com/bill/arizona-hb-2112/

MemberSCP-1471, also known as MalO, is a phone app (technically virus), spreading from device to another. Users with the MalO app on their device will be unable to uninstall the app, and be stalked by SCP-1471-A (a humanoid figure with a skull dog face and black hair). The stalking method consists of images sent by text messages from the MalO app between 3 to 6 hours interval. During the first 24 hours, the user will see images of SCP-1471-A at places the user commonly go to. After 48 hours, the user will begin receiving images of SCP-1471-A at recently visited locations. After 72 hours, the user will receive images from the app in real time with SCP-1471-A appearing in close proximity to the user. Users who were exposed for over 90 hours will begin seeing SCP-1471-A within their peripheral vision. The object class of this SCP is Euclid. To this day, no hostility has been reported regarding SCP-1471.
That's basically what SCP-1471 is, according to the SCP Wiki. But all of that is beside the point here. On e621, you can enjoy all the art shared. Be it from games, movies, cartoons, fiction, furries mainly, and more.
