  • A full-blown beauty and a soul of pure kindness. It is no wonder that Trace "changed" for the worse after her death, in an attempt to "bring her back". As a certain Lannister said "The things we do for love".

  • Tom draws keidran with no clothes and they just look cute
Tom draws keidran in a tank top and stockings and they look impossibly lewd

What type of sorcery is this?

Why some humans find keidran disgusting is beyond me

I'm going to give you my answer, but it's going to be a VERY LONG answer. Get ready because you are going to read a lot:

It all comes down to perspective: What do you mean? We find the Keidran attractive thanks in large part to the immense fandom with art (both sexual and non-sexual) that our beloved internet offers us (or the imagination) around these creatures (although obviously NOBODY has ever really met one).

Now think about it from the point of view of a human from the world of Twokinds: A world where there is no internet, societies and their way of life can be VERY different from ours. What for us a Keidran is a beautiful creature, for them to see a wolf or a tiger or a dog with humanoid characteristics and human intellect must be terrifying because they are DIFFERENT from them.

In ancient times (ancient, medieval or early modern age) that humans feared or distrusted what was different from them or for their customs / societies, it was something quite common, just think about it, among ourselves we already discriminated ( by our ethnicity, religion, etc.), how would you react when seeing an animal capable of walking on two legs, speak a language and think like a human? seems barbaric or weird or extravagant).

So why do some humans find keidran disgusting? Because it all boils down to perpestive, which for us seems BEAUTIFUL because of our way of life / society / internet, for them in a community with different ways of living than the ours, they have their way of seeing the Keidran, more taking into account that they have lived with them for HUNDREDS of years, who knows, with so many "hostile encounters" it leaves a sequel in the relationship of these races even with the passage of time.

Of course, there are humans who make the exception to that rule, Eric Vaughan, they find Keidran (especially females) attractive given the upbringing they had (upbringing also plays a factor in the social development of a person or Indovidu ).

But make no mistake, there are people even in OUR OWN WORLD who would consider the Keidran as "weirdos" or "animals", I think you already know who I'm talking about (those who say "there is the weirdo who likes furry") .

I hope I have answered SOMETHING your question, that, if you are not bored by this bible that he sends me hehehehe.

Its common in fantasy settings with beast folk

Yea, but that's carry-over from other media where beastfolk tend to be creepy goblinoids or disgusting / terrifying beastly things, when theyre 90% Hot Anime Babes and Cute Anime Dudes it's harder to suspend my disbelief lol
Not really critting twokinds though, I get it, but man, really, I gotta double down on *why* would anyone find them anything but appealing in that setting

Because like someone else said. It's all about perspective. Most of the common folk probably only seen the worst of the beast folk or at the least that's what they hear from their fellow man. You'll be bias for your own race so a prejudice against the beast folk will naturally form.

That's not to say that bias can't dissolve but it takes a good amount of understanding for it to happen.
