no this was on the 9/11 you know 9/11/2001?

See "gunfat date formats" aka "American date formats"

The rest of the world runs on day/month/year, it's only the USA doing month/day/year. In most of the world today is written as 23/7/2022, did you not know it's only America that writes it like that?

Yes, December. Or does this website run on gun-fat date formats despite being international?

First of all, I'm going point out that December is not the 11th month of the year.
Secondly, this was uploaded on 2021-09-11. That's the YYYY-MM-DD format. So yes, September 11th.

You are wrong on multiple levels.

It's actually registered as 09-12 when you click the "11 months ago" like I did, think that's why I got December because I was trying to fiqure out what was special about the date. But either way the "You are wrong on multiple levels." and similar pm you sent me, dude dont be the internet mod stereotype, were just talking about date formats.

Edit: Do timezones somehow effect what date you get if this was posted on sep 12 for me but sep 11 for you?

I just found it hilarious that despite you accusing the other guy of being wrong and US-centric – and writing out a report about them, of all things – you were the one who was wrong the whole time.
That's what the DM you got was about, by the way. I did not take my time to message you about this twice. I was closing a ticket you opened.

The report was because I geniunly thought they were a kid due to not knowing about date formats (because people have debated that to hell online so I thought you had to be young to not have seen it). Not about the argument.

You just came across pretty mockingly with the "You're wrong on multiple levels, it's amazing", no need for that. It turned out to just be a missunderstanding over it for some reason linking as 09-12.

See the +**** at the end of the timestamp? That's your local client-side timezone modifier, in 24h format. So for anyone in the Americas this was posted on the 11th.
None of this is anything you really needed to pop off about, though. Starting an argument about what the morally correct date format should be and backing up the obstinacy with some slurs is more likely to get you banned than influence timestamp formatting, particularly considering YYYY-MM-DD is just straight better for electronic data sorting, no matter where you're from. Think of it as DD-MM-YYYY but flipped the other way around, instead of as MM-DD-YYYY with the year portion moved.
This also isn't an international website. It's an American website that allows traffic from other countries.
