GDB
MemberWell technically some crazy teleporting magic could have caused this... clearly they rolled a nat 1. (Or 20, I don't judge)
olatheboi
MemberYou don't normally roll a d20 for teleporting in any edition of D&D. It's a d100 check. The only time you'd roll a d20 in relation to a Teleport spell would be if you're already in "Star Trek transporter malfunction episode" levels of fucked and need to find out if you're going to be shunted someplace randomly or have your molecules rearranged in the style of Jackson Pollock. Or both. /needlesspedantry
Mad Maddie
MemberTo be completely fair, needless pedantry aside, you're 100% correct.
If you're rolling a d20 in relation to teleportation, things have already gone horribly wrong and you're basically just trying to find out exactly how fucked you are. Meanwhile, your DM/GM is probably cackling their ass off like a lunatic xD
