  • Despite being gay, I specifically search for all comics because of gems like this one. It's got both great writing and great art, particularly those facial expressions. It's easy to feel invested with these characters

Hell yeah, totally agree, I'm straight but don't shy away from all of the gay stuff because although I don't like it as much, sometimes a good comic is just a damn good comic, why shouldn't I enjoy the story and be invested with the characters just because I don't share their sexual preference? Sure I'm not gonna be as into the auctual porn part of the story, but sometimes it's worth it to be there for the plot.

Believe me, every morning, between 8 and 10AM (of course takes more time if i start to read a long one) i browse the pool section, and when i found Comics like this it's a praise. And i follow each of them. Of course sex is good but things like this just brings joy for the life of some despite the sexuality this is a fact.

I am up to find a comic that will make me cry as i did when watching the Princess and the Pilot.... shit.

    1. Artist said straight up no.
    2. Practically every page gets this comment by people saying she knows she's pregnant. Even if it happened she wouldn't know at this point.

  • Considering she has the hots for sed herself, morissa took that realization WAY better than I was expecting. Here I was thinking tears and a whole new can of worms was gonna be opened but look at that big girl, sucking up her feelings to be there for her friend. Dammit BK, why you gotta nail my one kryptonite with a 20lb sledge? This kinda shit is exactly the only that makes me cry during a movie Q.Q

I think it's the mouse girl that has the hots for Seb.

  • It will likely never happen, not even in a dream scene idk how far they wrote.
I wouldn't mind if at some point we see a threesome between Seb, Serah, & Morissa.

Honestly I agree I think it's Morissa that has feelings for Seb, there was an earlier image in Thursday morning where there was a picture of Morissa checking him out.

Mouse girl could have hots for Seb.

Seb could be the school's hot young bachelor, but he is blind chasing after Sera.

Honestly though that facial expression she looks disappointed that Sera is doing this to Seb. She's been put in a hard place.

Straight and the same reason I follow comics like Angel of the Forest, you are actually emotionally invested in the characters thanks to the great art and writing, no hyper melodrama.

I'm kind of hoping on the side that she ends up becoming a threesome of the 2 of them. But that's just me and my fantasies.

  • Wait a minute. After reading this again I'm seeing juuust a bit of a dark side to Morissa. Is she asking Serah if she loves Seb because she is helping a friend sort things out - OR - is she asking because she wants to know if she might still has a shot at Seb herself and take him away from Serah!?! Kudos to BK for the subtlety. Did anyone else catch this fine point or am I just breathing fire in the dark?

It makes them feel like such human and real characters.

  • i really love Morrisa's expressions in the first three panels. the second panel looks like shes telling herself off for not realizing Serah was talking about Seb the whole time, where Morrisa was giving "boning your father" advice/worry. super glad thats cleared up.
but Serah, just say it! you DO love him! (even though it might feel really fucking weird to admit that out loud in this particular context... >.> )

The "Oh mer gawd, she's pReGnANt!" people have gotten really, really annoying. We get it, it's one of their kinks. But it *AIN'T* happening in this comic. No matter how much wishful thinking they use. And at this point, the mental image is of them rabidly frothing at the mouth as they ask/predict for the 1000th time.

  • To explain a bit more now that the pages in question are done, originally BK had no mention of who she was having relations with, keeping the misunderstanding going longer. After some thought, I, as co-writer, insisted that clearing it up sooner rather than later was important since a lot of readers had latched onto it, and since it wasn't going anywhere it was setting up a Chekhov's gun that wasn't going to be fired.

This stems from an earlier bump when he and I were starting out working together and has been a bone of contention between us for a while. Resolving that bump in an impactful and liked way has been in the works for a while, and this was the end result.

So, there was a little confusion when an originally finished page got pulled for some revamps. We ended up adding a page between the two planned ones to show more of Morissa's reaction. The end result I'd say is quite serviceable in using the Chekhov's gun in a subtle way~

Thank you all for enjoying it so far!

  • Looks like Morissa was really HOPING for a "no" - maybe even the reason why she went "there's your answer". like the first few panels are a mix between realization and heartbroken.
And the second last panel's expression, to me at least, seems to point more towards "Maybe I can get Serah to stop this just yet."

Of course, that's just a theory, Morissa is a good person, but selfish needs often find their way to actions, either way.

    Maybeโ€ฆ but I wonderโ€ฆ. I keep looking at Morissaโ€™s expressions.

Is it possible she may think Serahโ€™s lying about whoโ€™s sheโ€™s been with; still thinking itโ€™s her dad?

Or could she have said something to another adult?

Iโ€™m spitballing, but my gut says thereโ€™s more to Morissaโ€™s body language.

I dunno about that... To me, her body language says something along the lines of "Wait... She's talking about Seb? Of course she's talking about Seb... How didn't I catch that earlier?"

But, again, that might just be me...

    Also, great page BK!

Black kitten never really established if sheep girl likes Seb. Just Mouse girl from chapter 2 showed any real interest and even then Sarah knew that Mouse gril had a crush. Sarah seems to know what people are feeling so maybe she felt safe around her friend who showed no real interest before.

  • Even if Serah loves her brother, in an unbrotherly way, it hardly has a future.
There are many cons and few pros. Practically, it would be challenging the world, and for their ages, it doesn't seem like something they can do now. And it remains to be seen how much Seb would also be willing to take this from an adventure to something more romantic and deeper than casual sex.

He accepted Serah's challenge for a date. He set it up in the treehouse with them going to a movie afterward. Then Serah put a kibosh on that plan after they had sex in the treehouse. Seb definitely wanted to take their relationship to the next level. I think what happened is Serah suddenly got scared and had cold feet. I'm still trying figure out what the photos of them as kids had to do with that and what did she mean by not wanting to lose Seb. I guess the best one can say at this point is stay tuned, folks!

I'd kinda hate that tbh. It doesnt seem, to me, to fit thematically and it feels very out of character for Morissa. Plus, that doesn't seem to align with Seb and Sarah's character motivations, in so far as they've been outlined at least.

I like the sex scenes but I'm really more invested in the story.

I'm still trying to figure out how she would lose Seb. Is she somehow implying that Seb would die if they continued their relationship? Call me a dim bulb but I'm just not seeing the connection here.

I think the implication is that external pressures would cause their relationship to break and they'd become estranged (not entirely sure of the specifics of how that would happen tho). I think that worries her because she gets some sense of intimacy from Seb. That's especially important to her given that their mother died and Kieth has been emotionally distant presumably as a result.

There's a void that should be filled with their parents' platonic love and affection but that Seb and Sarah are forced to fill themselves. She's scared because the fix that they found in each other works and feels great, but is so tenuous.
