The mix between realism and comedy, even when balancing that on a story of lewdness, made this better than 90% of the slice-of-life comics I've read. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing more of these characters, especially Joss and Keith. In the mean time, take a break my funky lad, you've more than earned it.

Just reread the whole comic, and I've gotta say it's easily my favorite of all time. Enjoy your break, I will be patiently waiting for your next project :)

I just realized something. Why is this page marked as "Questionable"? It seems pretty sfw to me. The most mature thing on the page is "like I was saying, I could barely walk after that", which I don't think is honestly that big a deal enough to give it a Q rating, no?

To be fair, as someone who lives in the area, a lot of the smaller lakes out in western Oregon have a lot of greenery growing under the water. They discourage swimming in em because you can get your feet tangled up in it and drown. Big lakes and streams are pretty safe, though. Maybe that particular lake isn't safe for swimming?

And speaking of the PNW, I got a curiosity question for Funky: To my understanding, you live somewhere in Europe, no? Why did you set this comic in the PNW, rather than somewhere closer to where you live? Something you might be more familiar with. I might be wrong, and I hope I'm not coming off as rude, just super super curious.

I'm so glad I checked this today! This is probably one of my favorite comics on this site at this point.

After reading pretty much all of funkybun's works posted on this site at the time of writing this, I've decided to leave a comment here, since this is one of the sweetest of their comics.

First of all, these works are great! They are so cute and sweet, that even calling them "porn" feels like an insult. However, this means that for me this is kinda a problem, the same one that I have with all of the other "wholesome adult content"... Reading them makes me depressed. I always slightly dissociate when I consume fiction, and this kind of cute and wholesome works make snapping out of dissociation pretty painful. Realising that I don't have caring friends, or a loving partner, that I don't even look cute like the characters here, and that none of this will ever happen...

Works like this make me feel like a little match girl (or a boy in my case), who is freezing to death on the street, while wasting all of the matches in order to hallucinate a loving grandma hugging them
