It's just the model of the wolf is clipping into the camera. Since the model is one sided (the out side of wolf) and said model is clipping into the camera it causes it to look like a hole when in reality there is no hole. Think of the inside of the wolf's model as a one way window. You can see out but nothing on the outside of the model can see in. This kind of thing happens alot in video games.
