  • Pentacle is like an optical illusion dealeo with a pentagram, just google it real quick.
    and guys, Pentagram is symbolic, for POWER, which is why it is used in summons such as, for a demon, or rather anything involving supernatural elements or the elements themselves, seeing as how the most common representation of the five points is Fire Water Earth Air and the upward-pointing point being either Aether or Spirit. Just look up how many different religions use it. You'll be surprised. Universal symbol for power labeled satanic by the religion that has caused greater bloodshed than any other and literally set the world back hundreds of years with the Dark Ages.

    Why wouldn't you want to scissor with a cuntboy with a satanic symbol on his groin?

    Pentacle (also PentAlfa. Pente = five; Alfa = "A" in the alphabet) is a symbol from the Ancient Greece (4000-4500 BC). Pentacle has nothing to do with сhristianity. The satanic (this is a part of christinity because it's based on christian mythology) symbol is an upside-down cross that symbolize renunciation of christian god Yahveh and his son Jesus.
    The upright Pentagram displays the human microcosm - Left arm, Right arm, Left leg, Right leg and Head on the top. Also pentagram is a symbol of the Goddess Venus. Because of the planet Venus http://youtu.be/fFDBeTdPKig

    No. Just no. The upside-down cross is not a satanic symbol. It's a Christian symbol called St. Peter's Cross. It does not represent the apostatization of Christ, it represents St. Peter demanding to be crucified upside down because he didn't feel worthy of dying the same way Christ did. It's a VERY Christan symbol.

    I always thought the logic was:
    "Pentacle = Rightside Up"
    "Pentagram = Upside Down"

    But to the average Christian, both = zOMG SATANISM.

    (Optical illusion? Lol what?)

    As for the other thing, pentagram and pentacle are usually interchangeable, but if you want to get technical a pentacle has the circle while the pentagram doesn't. (Pentagram literally means "five lines" in greek.) As said above each point represents the elements, but the symbol is not a symbol of power, but a symbol of protection.

    The upwards point represents Spirit, as in "spirit is above all" while an inverted pentacle has spirit pointed down, to symbolize matter and physical things as more important than spiritual. This is generally regarded even by pagans as a bad symbol.

    The circle around the pentacle represents unity (esp. of the 5 elements) and eternity.

    I know right? Even though a Pentacle means protection from evil, and a Pentagram means the evil you were worried about is gone.
