News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.

    Oof, I’m sorry about the confusion. I was a tad worried about the slightly more confusing aspects of the sketch, especially when you don’t know exactly what the X does to the physicality of the chozo they take over.
    It’s supposed to be kinda goopy, but it’s difficult to visualise when the sketch is so rough. But these sketches are just for practice and to give me more stuff to share between very long animation uploads. They’re not really for “finishing”.
    Personally, though I’m not a very good artist yet, I’m actually very happy with how this one came out once everything here clicks. It’s got some nice shades and poses in there once you see them. It would be a shame not to share it even if it’s a little harder to grasp.
    Perhaps if I have time I will come back to this one and refine it a little, when I do I will come back and delete this one to replace it with the improved one but that’s not a guarantee. I only have time to work on these once a week as I do my animating every other day.

    It’s all to help me improve, so perhaps your words will make me spend a bit more time refining these so I can really impress later!
