considering the nature of hladilnik's universe i still think she was murdered by the creature form the end of this comic

think about it, they both have pictures taken by it at the end of that comic similarly to how carol did before she was murdered, only she was awake, plus we haven't heard much from michelle and will since the end of that comic (and no supplementary material doesn't count until there's another comic) meaning they could very much be dead and will's dad none the wiser due to his divorce.

how do we even know they were even alive at the end of that comic, or if carol hadn't experienced the same thing as they did? thinking they were alive when actually they were dead by the end of that comic and, really, it just looked like they got out alive to us cause that's what hladilnik wanted us to think?

i don't know why, but, that entity at the end of that comic strikes me as the culprit simply because whatever it was that killed carol left no trace, implying it wasn't "human" (for lack of a better word for anthro characters.) and took pictures f her like it did them.

If there is a connection between Carol and the creature, I think she is the creature.
Perhaps, she trapped the killer there as a curse for her murder.

she wouldn't be looking for him now, though that does have a good point, since some eldritch demon thing probably wouldn't have stabbed her.

but again, that looks to be more supplementary material, before they knew what she was going to do or if there was a story, can't really role that out as evidence, until we learn more.

This is why i think everyone, but especially women, should get self defense classes and/or a weapon like a collapsible baton, tazer, or pepper spray when they go to college and/or move into their own place. At least get a dog that's big enough to defend you. Young adults and especially young women are common targets for all kinds of nasty people. I'm a large man and the first thing i did when i got my own place was get a weapon to defend myself, and if i ever have a daughter she's going to know some self defense before she turns 18; women dont need a man to defend them and it will help guarantee their independence.
