    Well technically, they are in a polyamorous relationship with Max and Tarot (see the Bathhouse arc), so they are still doing saucy stuff canonically.

    I wouldn't call it polyamorous. More like an open relationship regarding a single other person as Max and Peanut aren't in a relationship.

    Think its a pretty standard thing among the pets too. Kevin had no problem with Sasha "thanking" Fox for saving her and King's idea of having a "faithful" relationship was seen as weird.

    I think it means that All four are in interconnected relationships with each other, so they treat it like all of them are one group, even if two of them aren't doing it with each other.
