It probably doesn't help that the rug initially looks like a pool of blood coming out of Green's nose, but it is reassuring to learn that Green wasn't harmed any physically.

When he says "hit a traffic camera", does he mean he got spotted by one? Or that he literally hit one? Normally I'd assume the former, but this IS Green.

Not really...when my grandmother is stressed, she starts to crochet and/or weave baskets like a mad-woman. One day, when I returned from work, she had woven 4 large baskets and made a twin sized bed cover.
