She's probably a starship's mainframe, or some such cyborg control system.

    Or a fancy blender!

  • The 'armor' doesn't seem that practical as armor, for one thing, it appears the helmet component is attached to the rest of it, leading to the impossibility of head rotation.

It's more likely it is some sort of AI representation.

Of course with the visor up, and it being sci-fi style could be a 360 degree hud...

Visors can be lifted up. Ever seen a fireman with his visor up...

It is likely intended to be a non-combat scene...

and we're over analyzing it :-P

  • At first, I wanted to just say it IS a hair-dryer.

It's ARA's prototype mainframe interface. Those of you who said it's impractical armour, you're correct, it's only an interface armour.

She is (partly) an AI. ARA stands for Artificial Relay Administrator.

And yes, it's a visor currently in the "up" position. Her face isn't normally exposed.

  • We need stuff like this to counter the stuff on 4chan when we try to start furry threads. This would kick robo-desu's ass.

At first I myself thought it was some kind of adaption to Sanghili armor from Halo... Very nice piece though
