April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.
Please, help us get the word out by letting others know about this issue.

We still have a Discord server, come talk to us!

JanitorSo the patreon source link is definitely behind a pledge, but it does also say "comms", meaning if this is from that patreon post, it's a commission.
So even though you do need to pledge to see this image yourself, there's also possiobility it's simply the commissioner posting this themselves or someone on behald of them.
If there's further proof againts this then feel free to give that and artist is also always free to utilize takedown if they don't want something specifically here.

MemberHi, commissioner here. I posted the futa absol commission not knowing that Patreon posts were a no-go. I can take it down if needed.

JanitorNowhere does it say that patreon posts are no-go :V
Paysite, commercial or subscription content is no-go. What the site means by that is that you cannot go to someones patreon (or buy someones art CD, subscribe to an adult website, etc.), pledge for a month to rip all the content and then come in here and start uploading them.
We have a lot of posts that are sourced from patreon if they are freely available to view there, just that patreon requires pornographic posts to be behind a pledge so that's less common with furry artists.
If you get commission, then it's between you and artists ToS if you can or cannot post stuff in here. I know many artists who still want to keep HD copies as patron/private only, then some artists have even given me source files of some commissions without asking, so it's highly depending.
So when there's flag for paysite content, I do have to have pretty good information that the upload is actually leaked/pirated material and in this instance this does not seem to be the case or seems less likely.
But of course takedowns can be utilized by all first parties, including artist and commissioner, so if this is indeed copy of the artwork that was not meant to be uploaded publicly, just use that to get it deleted if necessary.
