Listen man, I love Rio. A lot. It is my favorite Blue Sky Movie by a long shot and means a lot to me for my younger years. Blu and Jewel were major parts of my development in furry things, in lewd things, and I liked them and their arc as characters completely. I'd just say go watch Jonah Who's 'Ranking Every Blue Sky Movie' video because he puts it in better words than I ever could and I honestly agree with him 100% in his sections for Rio 1 and 2..Rio is fantastic, and I genuinely do love Blu and Jewel for everything they represented. I loved what that whole movie represented. And the series [moreso the first movie] has some of the earliest moments in my life that I looked up fanfictions and fan art for, only second to Spyro and Cynder. Probably my first OTP ever, Blu and Jewel arguably second. So trust me, I have immense respect for Rio and it's characters for many reasons.

Well, I'm sorry that you have that, fear, dude. Genuinely. But I'm pretty sure that the porn of Rio has a lot more people and potential artists who do care for the characters on that level than not. Sometimes that's just how porn is, Shining Armor, even if he's my least favorite male of MLP to begin with (not because he's bad, I just think every other important male of the show is better) is probably the greatest example of a character who's whole reputation and relationship has been ruined by the porn community. I'm not saying it doesn't happen. But I'm pretty sure there still exist people and artists who draw otherwise. So I'm sure there are people who think that for Rio or any other series. And like, commissions exist. There's never not opportunities for you or anyone to bring romantic or in character art to light.
All I'm saying is I understand where you're coming from. I just think that one picture isn't the end of the world. Especially when Jonah Who made a fantastic vid on the Blue Sky movies, which I highly encourage people to watch. Schafferilasis just recently did a video on them too... Even if he has a completely different opinion on Rio that I don't agree with... Really at all but eh, any Rio exposure is good exposure.
