For context, this is essentially Yiffalicious 2, and was called that at one point during development. Really excited for how this turns out.

Been supporting YL2/Furry VNE for a few years now, and I'm regularly impressed with how much technical work has gone into this project. It feels like every month or so, they release a progress post that goes something along the lines of, "Yeah, we looked at the traditional methods of implementing a system that does X, but it didn't meet our standards for what we want our project to be able to accomplish, so, you know, we just completely reinvented it from the ground up to be better."

Honestly, I think Furry VNE is going to end up being the most technically advanced and visually impressive 3d sex game/software that we're going to see for quite some time, and I wouldn't be surprised if it eventually supersedes tools like Source Filmmaker for amateur porn animation. It'll be pretty heavily determined by what degree of freedom is achievable by the actual animation tools in the end program, but everything the devs have done has been promising, and I'm more than happy to throw money at their patreon to support their work.

Its quite easy when you are working on the stuff for 5 years and get €6,891 per month on patreon. They take their time as money just keep floating in and all they need to do is sprinkle around some progress here and there with the promise that you can play it this year.

Split between how many people? Development is expensive. They also finished Yiffalicious so they have that to thier credit too.

I haven't followed this development much. There is another creator that had projects behind him that raked over ten thousand dollars a month for 5+ years without so much as bothering to give monthly updates though, so I can understand scrutiny. I gave that unnamed guy support way longer than I should have.

This version has been in the making since 2017, it was originally titled Yiffalicious 2 but got rebranded later on. Sure there are worse people on patreon out there but this one aint that much better. Every little thing they have is behind the paywalls and if you expect to have an actual game you will be disappointed as soo far this is nothing but a model creator where you cant use the models for anything.

the furryVNE on the patreon "a Furry Visual Noveling Editor in full 3D. With this project, we're aiming to create a complete toolset for creating furry avatars and stories"
its write on the patreon it's very clear that their aim is not a yiffalicious 2(sex interactions on my point of view) so much so that they changed the name in the end for me will be a yiffalicious 2 just alot more bigger with much more things to do and make

idk about you but as far i can see they are going for a Noveling editor to do that they need characters they can just make and put in yes but look at the past so many people doing skins and modding stuff on yiffalicious looks like they put alot effort in a editor where you can create anything you want and they are close to finish or at least end the editor phase my guess is they will go for interactions not just sex but animations in general that will be a long part like the character editor/creator it takes time and remember they arent a AAA studio even with €6,891 and do plz remember we pass by Covid not long ago too

They changed the name due to discrimination by banks if I recall (or to preemptively avoid such issues). The increased scope is true, but it essentially is Yiffalicious 2.
