Downvote usage in my eyes should be for early warning of something inarguable heinous, something that more than likely has broken site rules.

personally i think people just need to learn how to use a blacklist rather than downvoting something just because they don't like it
the votes are intended to be based on the quality of the art, not whether or not you like the fetishes showcased in said art

Like the other person said you can do both and black listing tags dosen't mean you won't find art that you dislike for any reason
