Let’s talk about bathtub sizes. Mike is large. He’s got a wide torso, and he’s 6’4” (1.93m). In his house, there are two bathrooms on the main floor: There’s the master bathroom connected to Mike’s bedroom, and there’s the guest bathroom just across the hall for the adjacent room. The master bathroom contains a walk-in shower with no tub, which is preferred most of the time anyway, but what if the loaf wants to soak or recline while bathing? Unfortunately, he’s forced to use the guest bathroom… with the tub he barely fits in.

For instance, after the ticklish incident that involved his paws getting painted by a friend of his, Mike wanted to clean himself up. He dragged his feet over the grass to ensure as little wet paint as possible was left on him, but in the end, it needed a washing to take all of it off. When he was confident he wouldn’t mess up the floorboards, Mike walked inside, and slid into a bath. Needing to reach his paws to clean them, he decided that reclining in a tub was more comfortable than sitting on a shower’s tile floor. After not too long, Mike’s trainer came in to check on the loaf, who had forgiven the smeargle by now. In fact, he was actually quite happy to report - visual proof smugly extending outward - that his paws were now “squeaky clean”.

Seems the soak did him some good! This therapeutic experience for the poor dude after something like that backyard fiasco certainly helped melt away any possible embarrassment he felt, and he even seems in a playful enough mood to offer the goods to his trainer for inspection! Maybe he feels like his partner might offer up a massage since the fella came in to make sure Mike wasn’t upset. But since Mike’s so far from upset, will he get sympathy?
