Alright made this mini animation with a different tactic this time.

Basically curves and constraints, somewhat similiar to the first loop in this animation:

it can look good and is mostly automated, like instead of making an animation form pose 1 to pose 2 and playing it back and forth, it wont look that good, so I mostly plan to make circular motion and thought: what if I pose something, and make the model follow a circular path so I don't have to animate anything and that's what I did.

Sure I could try animating a circular motion manually myself except I'm dumb dumb and not super used to animating good animations. wiggles and such were animated manually this time because I didn't feel like fighting with wigglebones again so these simple up/down wiggles are easy enough for the looping motion.

so what about wigglebones? this gets technical and way too detailed so if you are not interested you can stop reading now

basically in a nutshell you install the addon, you can make bones wiggle so you can animate like a plastic flagpole or a radio receiver for a toy radio car or make a dick flop around using an armature which is the skeleton of the model used to pose models

Since blender has updated a lot recently, all the addons I use for animation are broken, sure I can test wiggles all I want in the editor but they are not gonna stay in the actual render so you gotta cache them into keyframes so blender knows to make them move every time without having to calculate them on the spot

And why is it broken? caching doesn't work anymore. I cannot make the wiggle to keyframes and thus I cannot keep them in a render and I am way too incompetent for animating anything realistic myself.

One workaround I figured out, because I noticed that if you disable a certain option, you can cache the animation, hooray, now you have wiggles except all animation is destroyed so I have only wiggling balls
the workaround: copy the armature without the model -> cache wiggle -> paste keyframes to original armature = problem solved?

no, it used to be solved for couple animations except now it makes wiggles that play in superspeed and I tried to mess with framerates, scaling, keyframe densities, animations speeds, everything I know of.

why not get an updated version of wigglebones? there is none as far as I could find through githubs and all, the one I have is the latest.

how about springbones? it has the same problem as with wigglebones from the tests i made, you cannot cache keyframes or im really stupid (most likely stupid)

then No-name suggested Gravity Collider Bone Physics Plugin which is kinda similiar, you can make wiggles or hair physics, even when you want to have specific hairstyles which seems really useful... except it refuses to install for me despite being marked to be supported for the blender 3.0 and above

here is the addon in case you are interested, it's free too which is a MIRACLE

but you can propably tell that working on stuff has been frustrating to say the least but I guess I need to just suck it up and git gud and animate everything manually..
sigh.. including thousands of fluid particles with meta balls probably lmao. because flip ain't working either for me, same issue, caching doesn't work. so I have been trying mantaflow, blender's own fluid simulator which makes me wait hours for 10 frames of testing and it doesn't give me anything, even when I have gone and looked a tutorial and copied every single setting, I still get nothing. I have tried re installing blender a couple times including wiping all of %appdata% and even reinstalled my operating system for it, only for the problems to persist even on clean startup files.

welp that said im gonna go on a break and touch some grass, it's finally warm outside and im not particularly a sporty guy, if you couldn't already tell by me spending enough time in front of blender where according to steam i have.... 2862 hours on and it's not even been a year with the steam edition. The idea of going out doesn't interest me at all mostly, but now it seems like a better option than troubleshoot where it doesn't lead me anywhere

and when I get back, the optimal plan is: do something and once rendering time, OUT for a walk, multitasking go BRRRR, both productive and preferably healthier too.
