MemberGood god!! The leaf power is stackable?! o__o
Imthereallum
Memberwhy did noone put brick break in the tags???
Varker
Memberall powers stack
Leaf: shoots some leaves, everytime you get another leaf power it shoots an increased number of leaves
Ghost: balls dissapear and hit the lowest brick while the ball bounce towards your direction, increased power makes balls follow you, at max it's almost imposible to lose a ball
Fire: each bouce (or aditional ball you shoot) will be followed by small fire balls, more power= more and stronger balls
Ice: makes an ice barrier below you, each bounce or shoot will also send a tiny ice dot that acts like a ball, the barrier stops balls if you miss them but it shortens when that happens
Lightning: balls have an electric charge that hits adjacent bricks, not sure if it triggers when you break one
Strength: balls become stones that can bounce on each other, a boucne on the plattform makes the ball bigger until it hits a brick, more power means bigger and stronger balls
Psychic: allows you to hold the balls above the platform, you decide when to launch them again, no idea what does max power, didn't like it
Xujinan
MemberAnd if you click you can get tons more pokeballs.
Also Ice sucks

Memberthere is another power, heart (normal type?): acts like auto hitting version of leaf on pickup, and also acts like electric when balls hit blocks.

Varker
Membernothing relevant, the game tells you from time to time stuff like "use the ice or phychic powers to avoid the penalty from losing a ball" "the ghost power might be dangerous if the bricks are too low"
finish expert for Bidoof!.....and happy ending
SecondWind
MemberFor Psychic, as you collect more of it, it will slow down the balls when they get close to the area of the platform (as you collect more, the range left and right of the platform increases) so you have more time to collect them before launching them back.

MemberThough I did get one that said something along the lines of "Collect Psychic power ups to go fuck yourself"

Otherwise, great game, soo addicting :D
Varker
Member(too lazy to quote)
zerocross it's a heracross, and a program, don't think it'll appear again
zerocross says many different things, I got "hidden warp if you miss 5 balls!...let's make it 10" charmeleon says "look croconaw, something familiar?" or something like that. Once you arrive at the boss stage, when charmeleon tries to save the changes, there's a pop up window that says "go fuck yourself" in colors
beating expert in 1 run it's just a bit difficult, send only a few balls and you'll end without time, send too many and you'll end losing time whenever you miss one, be lucky enough and you'll get the right power and many upgrades that will allow you to end with +2-3 minutes, I've managed it to lvl 8, but ran out of time
IMO ghost lv 3+, ice and leaf are the best powers, still don't know how thunder works, managed to finish one stage in seconds because it triggered massively and destroyed all the bricks with one ball
Varker
MemberDone, endless mode where you get to uncover different pokemons as you see them in the pokedex
Zadd
MemberOkay, so I figured it out. The special thing if you beat expert mode in one go is an "endless mode" in either easy hard or expert. However, I did discover this one image I did not see before: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17419144/Pictures/Private_Links/new%20file.bmp
MasterX94
MemberThe distance from when they lose momentum gets pushed up a bit, giving more time and space to toss em back up, at max, the balls lose momentum like a full inch above the platform. It's actually my favorite.
Halite
MemberPsychic and grass both get much better the higher the level.
All of them do of course, but more so with grass and electric.
Minus
MemberGrass is the worse one, not sure what you guys are on about. Perhaps if the limit was 1 ball it'd be okay, but even level 1 anything else is better than grass.
Cleared easy and hard (with 10 seconds left) and it was fun for a block breaker game, but I don't think I'm going to bother with expert.
Halite
MemberGrass is actually one of the fastest specials to clear a level, if you get a lot of them.

Silverhawke
Memberoh that pic, it's in heracross' account on FA (megahorn something). if you go around argon's "heracross private stash" submission you'll see him commenting.
Zanazoth
MemberDammit :( The furthest I can get is to 9th stage on expert(in a row play, beaten it otherwise), but with the amount of hits it takes to clear "heracross" blocks, I feel it's friggin' impossible lol. I got to that round with 2 1/2 minutes left. And with the limited easy to break blocks, got barely any powerups, then just cried a lot as I saw my defeat approach.
solcabeux
Memberthis is very silly. x3
ArgonVile
MemberThe key to level 9 is breaking through to the top. You can get tons of powerups after you break through those soft blocks next to his foot, on the right side! Aim there, and get some bouncing around the top of the level. Also, make sure to count the powerups that drop -- you want to focus on the powerups that appear most frequently. If you count 5 fire powerups, but only 1 ghost and 2 grass, then obviously fire is the way to go. They're never evenly distributed, there's always a correct choice!

MemberAlright guys... I'm sorry and glad to say that I've managed to beat expert mode from start to finish and just had to say so. One, because I finally conquered it, two, because I know some people will want to know how exactly to beat it, and three because I wanna say what's at the end.
Don't worry, I won't say anything if you don't want me to reveal what's at the end. But if you want to know, simply ask and I'll tell you. :)
First let me say that this took FOREVER. But now it's clear of my conscience and I'll probably never play again.
My Score for Expert was 380,625. I started Zerocross with at least 5 minutes and finished with almost 2 and a half minutes. I've been able to beat it twice now and I'm not sure why I thought it was so hard before...
My Stratagem:
*Game Time Overall:
-First Level: If you end this level with anything below 5 minutes left, it's a no go. Press P and Q in consecutive order please. If you get at least 6 minutes, it's worth a shot, and if you manage 7 to 8 minutes, simply do as Viewtiful Joe would. "JUST GO FOR IT!!"
-Second through Sixth: If you end these levels with less than 4 minutes, you can keep going, but it's likely to be a failure. 5 minutes is great and higher is a definite go.
-Seventh and Eighth: Try to get these done around 4 minutes.
-Ninth Level: It's great if you manage to finish this level with at least 3 minutes, which is no easy feat for it's basically the entire top of the screen and it's the last level.
-Zerocross: Do not sweat the time here, FOCUS.
*Powers:
-Ice: Great mid or late game, not so much early. Ice can finish the first level with around 5 minutes. It's not recommended for the first level so in turn restart if this is the power up it gives in the first place. For later, however, try getting the slow power ups and with the speed down release more balls, just NOT ALL of them.
-Fire: This is a generally ok power up. If not, then it's a pretty good power up. Early on it was known to finish the first level with at least 6 to 6 and a half minutes. The rest of the other levels play well with fire too. Just like Ice, slow it down, but don't get overwhelmed. The fire balls can sometimes hide the pokeballs, regardless of them being on fire or not.
-Leaf: This power up is good if you manage to find more power balls, because even if you lose a ball or two, with a few power levels in leaf you can find even more without having to use any more balls. This power is good if it's available, but if it's every now and then that it shows up, do not got for this power.
-Psychic: Do not continue if this is the power up for the first level. It's a good one, but the first level is all about time. In my opinion, it's not the best power in the first place, but can be good later. Say for instance you get this one around level 7 or 8, the game is not over, it's a decent power. To use this power, start with 3 to 5 pokeballs on one or two power balls. Try to find more speed up collectibles as you get more power and increase the number of pokeballs. Against Zerocross, it's best to keep it small, because of his attacks it's easy to lose time with this power up.
-Lightning: This can be a bad or good power up for the first level. It all depends on the drops and how well you can pay attention. This power up gets stronger for it's increase in speed through collecting more power balls, so it can get tough to follow with more power. The faster it gets the more blocks are likely to disappear with each hit, so as this occurs, the power ups, time collectibles and speed collectibles will clump together. If on the first level just lightning is the power available, jump through that crowd of stuff. If not it's a little risky because all of the time you need is in that mishmash of lightning and strength and ice. IF you get good power ups in the first level, then 1 or 2 pokeballs are fine, if one drops then don't sweat it, focus on the one. Mid and late game, the same can be said for the rest.
-Strength: Strength is good but on the first level it's kind of iffy. Keep to the idea that slow down collectibles increase it's power and you'll not go wrong. But when there are just a small few blocks left, you can try filling the screen with more balls, but since they will bounce off each other, try to keep an eye on the lower half of the screen. The rest of the game is good for strength as well.
-Ghost: Oh my god this is by far the best power. Even when it's not always available for grabs, it's good. At first power level with ghost when balls appear from the lower blocks, they move towards the paddle at 2 angles. If you can manipulate them to show up at one spot in between two or three spots, you can manage putting the balls out for a 5 to 8 rate. One thing to watch for is that every time a ball shows up, try to shoot one with another that appears so that they come back in groups, rinse and repeat for a speedy start, but do not go past 9 balls with just one power up because it's still easy to lose some balls. If you can sit yourself in the right place, you'll be able to catch pokeballs without having to move and when you can try to collect as many slow downs with the power ups as possible. When you have 2 power balls, you can move just a little more, but don't move too much because the pokeballs try to track where your paddle goes and can throw your pattern out of whack. At three, you can sit still and move a bit and not be bothered by where the balls go and when you get 4, it's time to let the balls fly and over time, while collecting power ups and time collectibles, try moving slowly over time and eventually you'll have almost all free motion available to you. Full power does not protect you from a ball falling if you move quickly across the screen, so watch it! If you have a level where this power up is low in count, don't go for it if there's ice, fire, leaf, or strength available. If it's late game then maybe go for the ghost, but it's all about your opinion of the powers.
-<3: It's kind of a mix between leaf and lightning, except I don't think speed affects its strength. I've only seen it a few times in normal play, so I haven't got a full grasp on it's ability, but I like it if the alternative is psychic or lightning.
*Level Start Strategies:
(before moving on I'd like to describe the paddle's angles because of manipulation techniques: it has 5 spots, 2 on the ends that send a ball sideways, the middle where on one side of this spot can make it go left upwards or right upwards, and the last two are in between the middle and end spots. Yes it's obvious, but I just want to be thorough. Smiley face)
-Level One: Line up the paddle to fit with the Typhlosion's leg on the right side of the screen, this is a sweet spot to send in one or two pokeballs through a gap up near the top right and the balls sometimes take a while to come back down from this spot. the space in the corner hear can yield many collectibles and it's a great place to start. If any balls come back down and there's still more stuff to get up there, send it back with the middle right side spot on the paddle. If this area is clear then you can move on to clearing the bottom if you haven't already with the power ups you just collected. The rest is about time. The first level is the most important when it comes to finish time. Refer to the "Game Time Overall" section above.
-Level Two: This one can be a real time eater. It's all stuck in a corner and if you miss a lot of pokeballs then you're screwed. The way I start is aim a ball at the very bottom of the blocks and then another ball for good measure. If you feel it's necessary, then put out a third. Another spot you can start at is by putting the paddle at the very left of the screen and send a pokeball to the left most stack of the blocks. There are a lot of soft blocks here.
-Level Three: I start this level by putting the paddle next to the left edge of the screen and fire one pokeball, then when it bounces back, I move the paddle to hit the ball in the left spot in between the middle and end spots. This puts the ball in a bounce back point where there are a small amount of soft blocks that may give power balls. There are more soft blocks lining the rest of the outer part of these so feel free to let pokeballs go up there every now and then.
-Level Four: Start the paddle just a little to the right under Heracross' foot and aim a pokeball at the right wall where that tall line of soft blocks are, if you sit still and have the ball hit the middle right spot on the paddle, then it has a good chance of bouncing in and out of there, taking all manner of goodies out with it. If at any point balls do not cooperate, simply put them in time out in the top left corner of the screen, they'll have some fun up there and if you feel they haven't learned their lessons, send them back up there, THEY ARE NAUGHTY.
-Level Five: I have not worked out a starting point for this level yet. The best spots to aim for are the right side in the spot where Charmeleon's head is or at the huge collection of soft blocks to the left of Heracross' leg. If you manage to get one in the middle where Charmeleon's tail is, good job. It's kind of hard to get it in there and if you manage, it will stay there for a little bit, unless it bounces right out. You may want to stick to 2 balls in this level when starting out.
-Level Six: This level is like a mix between 3 and 4. It's built a bit like 3 but on the opposite side of the screen. It starts like 4 where you would aim a ball at the spot between the wall and the soft blocks. It's a good place to start and just like 3, there are soft blocks lining the outer part.
-Level Seven: For this one, try to aim a pokeball in between Heracross' legs. It's a tough shot, but a couple bounces in there can get you started. If you end up losing control of the balls, just manipulate the aim of the pokeballs with the end spots on the paddle. This will make the balls take longer to get back to the paddle but they will cover more area this way. There are also some soft blocks that line the left side of Heracross' horn. This is a difficult level, but with some dedication, it should be no problem for anyone who gets this far.
-Level Eight: This level is not terribly difficult because half of it consists of soft blocks, but it takes up a good amount of the screen and can seem like a problem. This is not a problem for you though, for you are a pokemon mastah! Like the first level, there is a spot in the top right that will keep balls in its place, except if you manage to get one in there it will stay there for quite a while, relieving you of some of the soft blocks and their delicious goodies hidden inside! Any stray pokeballs can, again, be redirected with a precise bounce on the middle right spot. AND JUST LOOK AT HERACROSS' BACKSIDE, it's covered in soft blocks! Our breakfast meal of choice! Deal with these however you can, but I try to go to the top right corner first.
-Level Nine: This is the big baddy daddy of all mothers, imo. If you had trouble getting to this level with something like 2 minutes, you should probably try again, but for practice purposes keep going. THIS LEVEL IS FULL OF BLOCKS!!! Well, just like Level 4 and 6, there is a small spot where there are soft blocks against the wall and if you can clear that out, you are golden. If anything, a small amount of the bottom of the blocks are soft blocks and there's a small collection of them under Heracross' horn. If you are unable to collect enough power and there are still a lot of hard blocks and you took a minute or 2 trying to clear it, you are probably not going to make it. But, do persevere old chap, no dilly dallying what what.
-Zerocross: He is one meen sum bich. His edges can redirect the angle of the pokeballs, much like your paddle; however, he does this at random directions and can randomly throw a ball away when you were CLEARLY going to save it. But such is the cheating and badmouthy ways of Zerocross. The best place to start with this level is with the middle of the paddle being on path with the right edge of his body. If you manage to aim correctly and if he doesn't change the path of the ball, you are likely to get it in between the two antennae. What ever power up comes out of it, YOU MUST COLLECT IT. Powers are, dare I say, powerful in this level. Even one Power ball is enough to get the ball rolling *snicker*. Anyways, as soon as the antennae are gone, start from the bottom up. If a ball goes up the sides, it cannot be helped, it was meant to be. In congruency to this side ordeal, should you feel threatened that Heracross is about to attack, then try sending the one ball you are using up the sides. If at any time you are feeling brave you may put out a second pokeball, maybe even a third if you're the strong, silent, and heroic type. The rest is purely chance that Heracross will favor your endeavours and allow you to defeat him.
*Last Minute Details:
-Time Pickups: If at anytime there are 1's, 2's, and 3's, do not treat them like dust. Grab that delicious moolah in the form of seconds. Sometimes the game merely gives you those and 5's are the best you'll get. Remember, a penny saved is a penny earned. Just don't go losing balls over them. It's not worth that trade.
-Speed Pickups: These are particular to the power ups. Be aware of the powers and whether you want to be in the fast lane or sitting on a hill, watching the fabulous destruction take place just above your head.
-Pausing: One great little thing you can do with the pause feature is when you are stuck in a spot you don't want to be and there are power ups being set upon you from above and you can't move over because there's more crap in the way, simply pause and move the cursor over to the other side of the screen. It's dickish, I know, but if the game allows it, I believe this feature is pretty much a required ability.
-Just Chill: You don't absolutely have to know what's at the end, it's just for fun!

I remember seeing it at one point and what it did was create water at the bottom which slowed the balls down and the paddle was creating a whirlpool which stopped the balls entirely until you clicked again which sends all of the caught balls flying in the direction they were moving and up

MemberIt's a great game with a great plot, great characters, great gameplay, and, most importantly, great porn.
I do have one suggestion: A cheat code to unlock all the levels, or at least codes to unlock certain levels. It's an inconvenience having to go through all the levels and cutscenes to get to where I am.
Other than that, it's great!
